This weeks words are Front & Back. I did a bit of digging around my archives because I'm lazy this week.
FRONT:
This is the Front of my eye, as it would be rather difficult to photograph the back.
Click to enlarge, this one is really cool.
This was taken in 1963 on the Front step of the house we stayed in, while in Saskatchewan.
That is mom, my two brothers, my sister & I.
This little bird is sitting on the Front perch at his(her?) house.
This is all my Uncles and my dad standing in Front of Uncle Johnny's school bus at a family reunion in 1967. Uncle Gene is Leah's father (The Goat's Lunch Pail)
This photo works for both Front & Back...see, my hair is almost long enough to French braid.
BACK:
The Back of a fallen leaf.
The Back of Government House (and some people), which sits in front of the Museum. More on why we were there later in the week.
Some lilacs in my friends Back yard.
This photo is actually courtesy of my sister The Bag Lady. It is always best to put your little house out Back of the big one. This is from the homestead where my dad grew up.
That is it for this week. If you would like to see more photos on these words, some of the players have formed a group on Flickr and you can see a bunch of interpretations there. My flickr site is here.
Have a good day all.

I love that transitional photo for front and back. Very creative, Reb.
hey, that's a great picture of your front and back!
The front/back pic of you is very well done. Good for you.
Nice use of the shot of the Uncles and I have to say I quite enjoyed the photo of the old outhouse. It certainly has character.
Another interesting and enjoyable interpretation.
nice photos, I love the bird at his/her front entrance and your front/back, very crafty!
Great job! My favorite is the eye and the front/back shot taken in the mirror. Well played.
Great photos, Reb! I, too, like the front/back in the mirror.
And would also like to point out that in the family photo on the front steps, Reb is the cute one; the Bag lady is the one who looks all gimped and crooked! Sigh.
Oh, forgot to say - it does look like the swelling is reduced in your arm! Woohoo!
Wow, here I just threw that one in for the hell of it.
Hilary, thanks!
Gary, thank you.
Leah, thanks. I love that bus shot & the out house photo.
FC, thanks, I was quite pleased with that photo of the bird.
Tink, thanks, I wish I new how I got that shot ;)
Sis, thanks, shhhh no one needs to know and yes, it does.
Lots of great pics this week! I love the first pic of the eye! It's so clear and you can see the reflection there. Very cool.
Love the front and back too.
Thanks Jay, I wonder if I'll ever be able to repeat that kind of shot!
Neato! I love the mirrored shot you did, and I adore old photos too.
Great entries!!! AJ
wow, that eye is waaaay cool!!!
AJ, thanks. I can't believe the comments that shot is getting!
Janet, thanks, I think so too.
Oh, the eye IS really cool when you enlarge it. I especially love the bird on its perch and the lilacs.
Thanks Chatty.
I have to agree that the mirror shot is amazing! I like all the rest too, but there is something very artistic about that one in particular. Looks like you're making some sort of bigger comment on something very deep and philosophical about reality/perception/perspective.
And if you're not, just pretend you are!
Crabby, thanks. Damn, I knew I should have cleaned that mirror first!
Those are awesome. I wasn't smart enough to do my front back in a mirror! And I love the bird house shot. Very nice WWC this week. Mixing new with the old photographs is just wonderful.
Newt, thanks. I love old photos from back when the world was black & white.
Well done! I enjoyed all of them, the eye photo especially.
Thanks G-man.
Are you asking how young the coworker was that got vandalized, or the one that didn't know her geography? The first was 44. The second was 31. Sad, huh?
You were right about that close-up of your eye--so cool enlarged! I like the electric blue flecks that made it in there...and your eye has so many interesting shades I can't figure out what the overall color is--hazel?
I also liked the front/back photo of you--giggled over your virtual tube top, of course it's purple! :)
Jo, thanks, I think the blue must be the monitor on my desk. Yes, my eyes are a green/hazel but can also look blue. I knew you would notice the virtual tube top.
