Friday Funk!

HAPPY JULY 4TH
TO ALL MY AMERICAN READERS

This is the latest addition to my friends back yard. She hasn't found out his name yet, but I am sure he has a wonderful name. He was originally to go into the front yard that we are re-doing, but, was put in the back for safe keeping. It has been decided that he will stay there.

I mean, can you blame her? Isn't he beautiful? It is where she spends most time and she will be able to see him from the kitchen window too.

These were taken from my cell phone, so are not a clear as they could be.

So, that's it, have a good weekend everyone.

He kinda looks like a Barney to me....

Frank, I just posted that! I also just cleaned up the photos a bit. She is thinking of naming him after her dead husband ;) I'll let her know your suggestion though.

I wouldn't be able to bear it if I couldn't keep him where I could easily see him either...

He is magnificent.

He is gorgeous! No wonder she wants to keep him where she can see him. I'm not sure about the name, though... Orsini keeps coming to mind.

Reb said...

Hilary, that would be unbearable!

Leah, yes, he is.

Sis, yep, I'll pass that along too.

That thing is beautiful! I would definitely keep him in the back yard where nobody could mess with him.

Orson Welles?

Kody? (short for Kodiak)

Poo?

Okay, even Firefox didn't like Poo - it crashed as soon as I pushed publish!
So I'll stop now. I know your friend is perfectly capable of coming up with a terrific name without any help from me!!

He is gorgeous and I now understand why Bag lady needed our help to name her new calves.

Jay, thanks. He is actually designed to be able to anchor him down, but yes, much better in the back.

Sis, do you blame Firefox? lol

Terrie, yes, he is. Ah, yes, the truth always comes out doesn't it! ;)

Very cool--I'm jealous of your friend; I wish I had a backyard bear too!

Reb said...

Crabby, I just wish I had a backyard!

wow, where did you get him? Gorgeous! Hope you had a great weekend and thanks for playing :-)

Janet said...

hahahaha sorry about that! I'm a moron :-)

Janet, thanks. They picked him up in a city south of here called Red Deer (AB), but I think she mentioned they are made somewhere in Texas.
