WWC: Distorted & Clear

Here it is Tuesday again! My how time flies when you are having fun! Tuesdays are reserved for the Weekly Word Challenge on my and several other blogs. The WWC is hosted by the lovely Tink of Pickled Beef and if you drop by her site you can find out how to throw your photos into the ring. The words for this week are DISTORTED and CLEAR. Without further ado...

Click on any photo to enlarge.

Distorted reflections in the base of this glass.

Water gets Distorted running over rocks.

Clear glass gets Distorted to make pleasing shapes.

Champagne is good! Oh, um, yeah, it also gives Distorted images of the stuff behind it.

Clear pools and Distorted water.

This tree has been Distorted by wind and other things.

My dishes make Distorted reflections.

Clear Alberta blue skies!

Clear (and coloured) acrylic tumbler also makes Distorted images.

Clearly we had a big wind.

Clear glasses have Distorted the lines of the table.

This Jay can clearly hear the camera and is curious.

So, there we have this weeks words. Some of us have created a Flickr group if you would like to drop by and have a look at other images you are welcome to do so.

Have a good day all.

Reb, I love the use of glass for distortion. Excellent vision and execution. In the stem of the glass in the first pic I see an interesting scene. It looks like a couple in period garb, I'd say from about two centuries ago.
And great use of the Blue Jay.

Leah, thanks! I just loved how the colours in that stem swirled and ran. That Jay was so funny.

Kcinnova, thanks, that is what is so great about the WWC.

Gary, thanks. Just a bit.

G-man, thanks, yes, I really like what it can do.

Great pictures! I really love the before and after shot of the tree, the curious Jay, and all the distortions in the glass(es). Very impressive. :D

I love all the water and glass pictures - that's what struck me most for the words this week, too. And the jay is such a great shot!

Thanks Jay. I dipped into the archives and then got carried away!

Tink, thanks! I love how glass distorts things.

Thanks Chatty. That was the only time he was in the clear so I could get a shot of him that day.

Great images, particularly the glassware.

And mmm, champagne... I'm clear before I drink it and then I become somewhat distorted so it's a perfect image for both.
