I don't do haiku
Sibu won't look when he plays
when I'm bugging him
Sibu won't look when he plays
when I'm bugging him
I think if you click to enlarge, you can just see the tip of my finger as he is trying to grab it. So, the rules of Haiku are three lines, first containing 5 syllables, second 7 syllables, third containing 5 again. I thought I should give it another try.
That works for both of those photos. That is kind of fun, as you can tell I have never done Haiku before. Give me your best Haiku about your pets, or drop over and give them direct to Gary.
Have a good day all.

Ah that's what I get for not reading carefully. I missed the part where they were specifically "pet" haiku. The timing was right for my current post, so I went back to Gary's and did this one..
Jack Russell Terror
Benny pesters my feline
And hisses ensue
I don't have a pet, and I'm lousy at Haiku. Maybe Sibu will give me some ideas. If something strikes me, I'll be back.
Haiku is definitely not my "bag"! hehehehehehehe (sorry - couldn't resist)
But yours are pretty good, sis!
OH THAT LAST PICTURE!
OK, but I am breaking the rules here, OK? Spike asked me to:
Sibu Pegasus Cat
Spike cat adores her fine long fur
Her sexy whiskers too.
Well, a cat advised me, so ...
Hilary, I loved your haiku on Gary's blog and this one too! Thanks!
Leah, I hoped Sibu might inspire those that didn't have their own.
Thanks Sis. Give it a try, you'd be amazed how easy it is.
Gary, thanks! Should you tell Spike that Sibu is a boy too?
Spike fancies Sibu
Not that there anything wrong..
Learned that on Seinfeld.
I love the last picture. i love cats but their dander does not like me!
I think the kitty would approve of the haiku's! I have a friend who is a musician who often writes songs inspired by her cat. My favorite is called "Not Quite a Love Bite" From the first posted picture, I'm sure you can relate.
Hilary, you're right of course.
Krishna, I can relate! Somehow my Himi and my friends Siamese don't bother me as much as my sisters domestics do.
Hebba, I certainly can relate ;)
Calling down the mothership! That is wonderful :))
I posted mine over at Gary's place. Just saw it all this morning. (Darn sinuses)
HA!!! I hope Gary sees your comment that Sibu is a boy! Poor Spike...he's so confused...
Benny is a twit.
With more energy than sense.
But he makes me laugh.
ahhhh the pet glory!
I love Sibu and the mothership haiku is really good!!
Hilary killed me with the Seinfeld line
and Benny - anything Benny is magical.
I am haiku-less!
Kcinnova, thanks. Sinuses can be our worst enemy!
Thanks for playing Frank. I love it!
Thanks Dianne. I've never tried them before this.

Ive been mulling this over all day and still CAN NOT BELIEVE YOURE GONNA SEW A BATHINGSUIT.
:)
perfection or not you are my hero for the attempt.
Id love to know how to sew....
Thanks Carla, I'll let you know how it goes!
You did an excellent job with your haikus. It must help to have a great source of inspiration like Sibu :)
Btw, what a small world. I checked Gary's blog and discovered he lives in Etna, NY which is close to where I grew up, about 10 minutes away. I'll have to stop by the pottery studio the next time I am back home.
Thanks David! Sibu is a wonderful inspiration for all sorts of things ;)
It is a small world and Gary is a wonderful potter.
great haikus!
She finds us asleep.
At 3 a. m.--- "Mrow! Feed Me!"
We love you, but scram.
Crabby, thanks! That is wonderful and oh, so true!
