Just a hello!

Just thought I would do a quick post. I spoke to the staff at the Dr.'s, they just received the x-rays, but haven't had any word from him to call me in... I asked if he could call me, so we will see how that goes.

In the meantime, some photos I just haven't had time to post. Click to enlarge if you please.

Can you see a face in this one?

Pinwheel in the wind.

Cool pattern.

I'll update if I hear from the Dr.

Have a good weekend all.

16.00 hrs - Still haven't heard from the Dr. so I called again. This time he had left a note on it that there was no reason to call me in. I assume that means it is not broken, but for F-SAKE, a phone call only takes a minute.

I guess no news is good news but still, the dr. needs to get on the phone and let you know what is happening.
I like the tree's mustache.

Hope you hear soon, Reb.

Love that face in the tree. Very Tolkien.

Went out gathering firewood with hubby the other day (with his back you can guess who did all the heaving and hauling!) and saw lots of old logs like that bottom image. Quite sad in a way. An old forest that had been converted to farming and big dead stumps all over the place.

Great firewood though!

The pinwheel has an amazing amount of character.
Tree cute, but the textures in that bottom pic are magnificent.

Wishing you good results.. and ease from your discomfort. I love that pinwheel. You've really captured the motion.. very cool!

I love the tree the most for some reason....and swung by to see if youve heard anything...here's hoping you have NOW?

Knight, yes, it is so frustrating sometimes. I like how the sap has run around and over it.

Dawn, thanks. That is at a friends place. I find it less sad for farming I think, than I do just great swaths of clear cutting for the lumber industry.

Jay, I just called again, I don't think I'll hear from him, but I am pretty sure it's not broken.

Thanks Leah, I quite like the pinwheel myself, I might try again using manual and a little longer shutter time.

Thanks Hilary. I'm going to try again with different settings I think.

Mizfit, not yet, but I'm glad you liked the tree.

Gary - is there an echo in here?

I don't understand why he can't just outright say what it is or isn't!!

It's like a freakin' game show - guess your diaganosis.

Dianne, they don't get paid if I don't show up I guess. Thanks.

I'm with Knight.
The cracks in the wood remind me of dry skin in the wintertime. I'd better go lather on some lotion.

I could have sworn I left a comment here yesterday!

Great photos, sis.

Do I have to come down there and talk to that damned doctor?!! Sheesh.

Reb said...

Kcinnova, lotion is good!

Sis, thanks. No, but you could just come down and visit.
