WWC: Plain and Adorned

Tuesday once again folks and that means Weekly Word Challenge. The words this week were Plain & Adorned.

This house is certainly ADORNED with decorations.

Which makes this one look rather PLAIN.

Home made fries ADORNED with ketchup just for this photo.

They are much better just PLAIN.

A lot of roof tops are ADORNED with satellite dishes.

You don't get any more PLAIN than this!

That's it! I have been trying to sew and am getting a bit frustrated, so I didn't have a lot of time for photos this week. I'll post about the sewing probably tomorrow.

If you would like to join the WWC visit Tink at Pickled Beef, she is the word master for us all.

Swimsuit sewing? Just the thought of it makes me run and hide - I can barely sew a button on a shirt. Pitiful, eh?
You did a lot more on the WWC this week than I did. And now I'm hungry for homemade fries...

Hmm, pumpkin people. A wee bit creepy in my view, but they certainly adorned the house.
Good work as usual.

I like these psots. Someday I'll have to play along.

I love the decorations at BOTH houses, but then, I love pumpkins, and I love Halloween. I sense some pumpkin soup and pumpkin seeds in my near future! Those fries made my mouth water, and I wasn't even hungry before - nothing like a good couple of food shots to get the old juices flowing! And the port-a-potty just made me giggle.
Hope the sewing is going well...

Aw, the plants on that second doorstep looked rather... sad. ;)

Those fries look yummy! Omg, I think you just gave me a craving.

I prefer my fries plain too! Well, with salt, but no ketchup. Yucky! LOL

Great pics as usual!

Great job as always, Reb. And YUM.. how many of us are thinking fries with dinner?

Kcinnova, I think I bit off more than I can chew with that idea. They were so good too.

Leah, I agree, but isn't that what Halloween is all about? Thanks.

Travis thanks. They are a lot of fun, you should play.

Chatty, thanks. Glad I made you giggle.

Tink, nothing wrong with a craving once in awhile ;)

Thanks Jay, it just about killed me to put ketchup on those, did you see how small an amount it was though.

Thanks Hilary. I think a lot of people are going to be planning fries, but how many are going to have home made?

Gary, it is a good thing I'm Canadian then, eh?

Those fries looked great! I had to laugh at the pot-o-pot, I was going to use one for "plain" too (alas I forgot) :/

Home made fries. You shouldn't have, Reb. That was cruel! It's hours until dinner time!

Well, I must admit, I'm really glad I was so busy I didn't get a chance to look at this until after supper! I'm too stuffed for the fries to make me hungry!

Great post, sis. Need any sewing advice? (Not that I've ever attempted to sew a swimsuit.....)

G-Man, thanks, I thought the port-a-pot was funny.

Dawn, so sorry and it is the wrong season for home-made too! Will you forgive me?

Sis, good thing for me I don't have a fryer!

Looking at those homemade fries made me hungry and crave them (which I haven't eaten for months). Eyes to stomach conditioning.
