The Doctor walked in with thumbs up! He knew why I was there and wanted to end the suspense fast! This is why, in spite of how much he ticks me off, I keep going back to him.
So, it is the beginnings of another fibrous lump and who knows how long it will take to appear. When it is big enough to be of concern, I will deal with it then. I just have to remember that it will eventually form and not panic the first time I feel it. The very first lump I had removed three years ago was of this sort, nothing to worry about and it is fairly minor surgery. It in fact is at about the same location, just the other breast.
In the mean time, I just have to put up with my kater-whompas tits. You all remember the song Madelina Catelina, with one tooth points North and the other points South? Well, in my case it is nipples! One is almost 50, the other is oh, about 30ish.
Thank you all for your concern and kind encouraging words. I am going to go and feed myself now.
Good Evening!

Great news.
Not familiar with the song. Guess I'll have to go look it up.
Yay! Very happy to hear it Reb.. except the nipple part that is. ;)
Oh, Thank God!!!
That's fantastic! So glad to hear the news was good.
Leah, it was just a silly camp song, I don't know if you'll be able to find it anywhere.
Hilary, SB Girl, Crabby, thank you all, I feel so much better about it.
Madelina, Catalina, Rubenstina, Walentina, Hogan, Pogan, Logan was her name...
That's the chorus, but can't remember how it starts.
So, does this mean we can call you Maddy...?
Great news, Reb, and thanks for letting me be first to know!! (well, okay, second...after you...)
Of course I would phone you first and if it had been bad news I would have let certain cousins know by phone too.
"She had two hairs upon her head, one something something and the other half dead"
I think is the start. No you can't call me Maddy!
I've never heard of this song, but Google has...
Catalina Magdalena
There was a little girl and she had a funny name
She got it from her father just the same, same, same.
Chorus:
Catalina, Magdalena, Lubenstina, Wobbledina, Hogan, Logan, Bogan was her name
She had two hairs upon her head,
One was black and the other was red.
She had remarkable teeth in her mouth,
One pointed east and the other pointed south.
Her feet were as large as a bathroom mat,
I never asked her how they got like that.
Her ears stuck out like the sails on a boat,
Her Adam's apple wobbled up and down her throat.
A ten to truck struck Mag-da-lena
The owner had to buy a new machine.
Chorus
Good Times Campers
Do your duties
Or we're gonna
Kick your booties
Chorus
Hilary, that could be the same song, just slightly different words. I never heard the camper do your thing chorus, but the rest is very similar.
Like the song "This land is our land", the Americans obviously use different locations than we do. Sorry, I didn't mean to put that in your head! There are a couple of other old songs that have been changed to suite our southern neighbours and the Canadian version forgotten.
From Bonavista to Vacouver Island...
Sing with me, Reb. I'm not doing this alone! ;)
Yay!
Cakes all around. :)
I'm so glad.
Thanks Geosomin, are you baking?
Yay! That's great news.
Thanks Tink, I think so too.
I've had one of those fibroadenomas before. You're so right. Not a big deal. Outpatient surgery, local anesthetic, legal drugs afterwards...could be a lot worse.
Bunnygirl, thanks for putting the correct word down - I couldn't think of the right one for the life of me!
You are right, though, I was back to work the next day - I didn't manage to stay the whole day, but I was back.
I have a friend who experienced recurrences of those tumors...an ordeal that requires a lot of patience & humor, but in the bigger picture, still a relief. I'm glad you got good news, Reb :)
Thanks Jo, so am I.
Praise be. We be dancing!
And Reb, I may be slack about visiting and leaving comments, but you are never far from my thoughts.
Bless you, hon.
XOXO
Congrats!!!
