WWC: Nine & Desire

Tuesday is Weekly Words Challenge time, this weeks words are the number NINE (9) and DESIRE. I can consider myself fortunate in that I really don't find too much lacking in my life so my desires are fairly simple. As far as nine goes, it seems to keep popping up in my life ;)

For example, I can show you nine nails! Or digits if you prefer ;)

I stuff my feet into size 9's

This is the ninth place I have lived on my own and it has the number 9 in the address.

This box has nine holes in it.
(me either, but, it had nine holes)

And just as a bonus, I was born in the ninth month ;)

I so desire spring this year, I had to show you a photo from last spring :(

I also desire to see flowers in the ground, not in vases.

I desire a road trip - to the mountains would just be a bonus.

My biggest desire right now is for my own transportation, I am not picky about what type either!

That's it! If you would like to join in the WWC you can drop by Tink's blog at Pickled Beef and she will set you on the road.

Have a good day all.

I enjoyed your post on nines. The clock in my hotel room reads 2:29 as I get ready to send this and I'm staying in room 259. And I'm 39 in two weeks. Hmmm... :)

Good job, Reb!

Loved the picture of the tulips, and are those really your digits? (How on earth did you reach them? I know how long your legs are!!:))

Haunted by nines? I think that's probably good.
Good work. I especially like the nine digits pic. More than anything it shows how your mind works.
Spring will be here soon.

David, lol, thanks! I forgot, my age ends in 9 too this year! As does the year I was born!

Sis, thanks. Yes! The tricky part was wedging my fingers between my toes!

Leah, thanks. Yes, it works in weird ways ;)

Thanks Gary!

Kcinnova, thanks!

Great Blog, Reb! I'm amazed that you could think of all of those nine memories! Spring tulips are what I'm looking forward to as well! However, for some reason or other, I plant them, and don't have much luck with them coming up!

Reb said...

Thanks Redbush. At least you get your bulbs planted ;)

Nice selection of nines. You put a lot of thought into this one. Great pictures! I love the tulips, just beautiful.

Thanks Karen! It is amazing what you come up with out of desperation ;)

Great job with both words. Lots of great nines and desires!

Clever depictions as usual, Reb. Gotta love that digits photo and the tulips are sigh-evoking. One more thing.. your recently-redecorated blog is dressed to the nines.

Thanks Jay.

Hilary, thanks. I couldn't resist the tulips.

Reb, I always LOVE the way you play! Great choice on the nines! My fav. is your nine little toes!
I desire a road trip right now too, and I agree, a trip to the mountains would just be a bonus. :)

I LOVE the nine digits photo! So creative! The window shot is lovely too, and the mountains. Great job all the way around.

Reb said...

Thanks Dianne, I've never thought about how I write it though.

Tink, thanks. I really had to contort to get my fingers in there!

Nine is an excellent Feng Shui number. The tulips and mountain photos were terrific.

Barbara, thanks. I know nothing about feng shui.
