Weekly Word Challenge

Once again it is Tuesday folks and that means photos! Lots of photos! For those that haven't joined in the fun, check out Tink at Pickled Beef, she is our lovely hostess and has the scoop.

Tink had a little fun with us last week by telling us on April 1st that the words were Espieglerie & Monkeyshine. She relented on the 2nd and gave us the words Smooth & Rough. She did say that she would give us bonus points if we could use the first set of words though. I am all about the bonus points! Sis, don't give the first two away, but you might remember the others and get a laugh.

So here they are - if this works.

Hope you enjoy.

P.S. Espieglerie - roguish or playful trick - I blew that one.

Hmm i could see the slide show in my Google reader but not on site, yet if I clicked on the blank space, it took me to the page where I could view the photos one at a time, and larger.

Reb, you're getting better and better at these. Your photos are creative, whimsical and intriguing.
Love your monkeyshines!

And I want to know what the espieglerie is!

I love all the photos but the pewter animals and the poor cnadle with a rough life really struck me.

I come by from Jo's place and I'm glad I did.

"Espieglerie" sent me to the dictionary. I like that in a word.
Love your smooth and rough choices.

Don't worry, Reb, the Bag Lady won't give the secret away (mostly 'cause she can't remember WTF that thing is...)

Hilary, thank you. I'm a little disappointed in the picassa slide show, but I am glad you were able to see the photos anyway. You have to wait to find out what the espielgerie is.

Dianne, thanks for dropping by, glad you enjoyed the photos.

Leah, I know, I searched in vain for that one. Thanks.

Sis, I guess you will have to wait to find out what they are then.

Great pictures! I'm tickled that you played the bonus words too. I'm working on an extra credit spork button tonight. :)

Oh, and do tell, what in the world are asshole darts??

great shots ... monkeyshine was my favorite ;)

Tink, thanks! I don't know that I got the essence of the Espieglerie though.

It is hard to see, but there is a glass on the floor between his feet - even harder to see is the quarter clenched in his buttocks that he is about to drop into the glass - after having walked across the room with it in place.

Thanks Moo.

I couldn't see it!

But it doesn't matter because I don't know what the first two words are anyways. Definitely no bonus points for me :)

Nice rough & smooth (isn't soapstone the most wonderful smooth stuff?), and that monkeyshine game... makes my college days seem quite tame!

Mammacita, I'm sorry you couldn't see them. I am not overly impressed with the picassa slideshow, so I'm thinking I won't bother anymore.

Kcinnova, thanks. Yes, soapstone is really touchable.

Great job! And all 4 as well. Tink should play more april fools jokes on us. it was fun to tackle those all too odd words. :-)

Reb said...

Newt, yes, she should, it was challenging. Mind you so will next weeks words be. Thanks.

Asshole darts, too funny!!!

Well done. I enjoyed all of those.

G-man, thanks. It was pretty funny to watch too.

The slideshow worked for me. I love the soapstone ducks! And Asshole Darts cracked me up, who thinks of these things? (Drunken, bored men)

You always have such great variety with your photos...and Hil's right, they keep getting better.

Jo, thanks. I think you're right about the asshole darts.
