Photo Finish Friday: New Snow

Please click to enlarge

We had snow overnight. I had good timing this morning....the snow removal guys just went by, so the side walk is clear now. It was the only way I knew we had new snow :)

Have a good weekend all.

Sad that it took such contrast to show it, but I am sure winter will right itself soon enough.

Good record pic.

Well, it must be an unusually mild winter for you, even more than i realized. If you want more snow, i hope you get it soon.

Sadly Leah, I think you are right. If only it would only snow on the farmers fields!

Messymimi, it is a very mild winter so far. I don't mind, except I know the farmers need the moisture of a good snow covering.

My, that's not much! I don't think we got more here last night. It blew around a lot, causing abysmal visibility to drive in, but it didn't quite cover up the grass when it settled.

That's about how much snow we've gotten each time this winter. *sigh*
Where's my snow!?!
I'm worrying about the farmers and drought this summer. :(

We didn't get any yesterday, but we are getting lots this morning. The worst part is that it's covering the sheets of ice, making walking treacherous.

Mary Anne, we are going to get another few centimetres in the next couple of days.

Karen, I know how much you like snow :) If it weren't for the farmers needing it, I could happily live with what we have.

Sis, we are getting more over the next couple of days. Hopefully not like last year though.

even though it's not much it still looks cold and slippery
I'm always paranoid about falling

Dianne, there is at least an inch of solid ice on the drives in our complex. The sidewalks and city streets are usually really good though. Of course, with my new hip I am a bit leery of falling too.

Ah, my children would love some snow!

Barrie, you will just have to come visit Canada again then :)
