Photo Finish Friday: Bright!

Please click to enlarge

The flash went off - Sibu was not very happy! We go to the vet on Monday afternoon to see what's going on. He has lost between 2-4 lbs, too much for a ten lb cat and he is still being finicky about whether he will eat or not. I wish I could drop 20 - 40% of my body weight in as short a period of time.
Have a good weekend all.

PFF is brought to us by Leah over at The Goat's Lunch Pail.

Since i do believe in praying for our pets, i'll be praying for good news from the vet, that it's something easy to treat or cure.

I'd like to finish losing weight, too, but not that fast! Hope Sibu's vet has the answers for you, and joining messymimi in her prayer.

Thanks Messymimi. I hope it helps.

Karen, yeah, it might be a bit too fast. Thanks for your prayers.

Hope Sibu is ok!! Will be sending positive thoughts. Our cat went through some sudden weight loss, and it turned out she'd gotten allergic to the food we were giving her. She gained the weight right back when we changed her diet. Hope Sibu has a similarly easy problem to fix!

Thanks Crabby, I hope so too.

I, too, am hoping for an easily fixable problem. I enjoy his face in the header so much, every time the page loads.

Good thoughts for you and Sibu, Reb.

Pets can always tell us when they're not feeling well. If it's a digestive disorder and your cat is really finicky about food, try Royal Canin. They have a brand just for cats like yours. I recommended it to a friend last year and her cat is doing much better on it, and not getting sick from her food.

Thanks Mary Anne. Of course since I posted this and made the appt, he has been eating well - typical cat.

Thanks David.

Barbara, he has been eating again, so I hope things are better, but I am keeping the appointment. Thanks for the suggestion though I will keep it in mind.

Aww Sibu, sweetie. Sending best thoughts for an easy diagnosis and quick recovery. Please keep us posted.

Thanks Hilary, I will.

I do love his face
I hope it's something simple, maybe his gums hurt, that happens a lot
too much weight loss too quickly causes liver trouble so it's good to check it now
I will send out all good thoughts, I know what it's like
I am the Florence Nightengale of the kitty set
good luck
hugs
please let us know how he is

Dianne, thank you. I will let you know for sure.
