This stair takes you from the river valley to street level. There was a pregnant Asian woman that went up and down about three times while we were having our picnic last week. I think she was more than ready to deliver and was trying to encourage the reluctant baby to be born in Canada.

Nice work placing the jagged stairs in the photo. Well done.
I'm not sure I could manage those stairs once, never mind three times.
A stairway to a different world.
The Asian lady would have better luck by getting dehydrated -- it concentrates the labor inducing hormones in the bloodstream, as I found out the hard way.
Thanks Leah. I did a couple of years ago, different set, but the same height. Darn near did me in.
I usually enjoy your photographs, but this one makes my knees hurt just from looking!
Mary Anne in Kentucky
Mary Anne, I know the feeling ;)
Ha! All she needed to do was add some spicy food to her diet and the baby would be out my now.
I love the shot!
Like Mary Anne, my knees hurt just looking at those stairs! I suppose that is a sign of a good photo: you took us there, for sure!
Walking never did put me in labor, or even keep me there. Neither did riding in the car over railroad tracks or other suggested ideas. My babies never wanted to come out when they were supposed to!
Thanks Scott. I don' know nothin' 'bout birthin' no babies. I do know those stairs are wicked.
Karen, Thanks. For all we know she has been doing that every day since she got pregnant.
That's quite a climb. I'm puffing just thinking about it.
David, when I tried a similar set a few years ago, I had to stop at each landing ;)
Wicked cool shot, sis! Made me tired just looking at the stairs!
Thanks Sis! I know the feeling!
Far to many steps for me. I might go down but I hate the idea of climbing them.
Travis, I know the feeling!
