We went for a drive on Tuesday out in the country. We stopped at Legal, AB and had a look at their murals. They were all very interesting, but this is what caught my fancy ;)
For those too young to recognise the graffiti, check this
link.
The PFF is the brainchild of my cousin Leah over at
The Goat's Lunch Pail.
Have a good weekend all.

Good one, Reb. I hadn't known (or had forgotten) there was a face that went with this saying.
Thanks Leah. In reading the link, it seems it was an amalgamation of two different pieces of graffiti.
So that's what Kilroy ended up doing after the war. I wonder what a gremlin owned bar looks like.
Is it weird that I learned all about Kilroy because I listened a Styx album as a teenager?
Messymimi, yep, looks that way. We didn't go in, small town bars are scary ;)
Karen, yes! Well, probably it is weirder that I learned about it long before the album, from my dad, in a town with very little graffiti.
Cool!
And staying out of small town pubs is a really good idea...... :)
Thanks Sis, yes it is!
I love that graphic because...well, because the Kilroy cartoon was about the only thing I could ever draw that was...you know...sort of recognizable. Ish.
Thanks for the memory. :)
So Kilroy is alive and living in Alberta! Funny to read Frank's comment. I didn't know that about him but it was what I was going to say also. Kilroy was my doodle trademark for a while.. ish. :)
Frank, you're welcome. It is pretty easy to draw, even if you're all thumbs like me.
Hilary, yep, he's here. I used to draw something else (kind of an alien), but I don't know if it had any significance. I stole it from my brothers binder.
