Double WWC - Double the fun!

As you may remember, I failed last weeks challenge, so I have decided to include it this week. I had a perfect item in mind for the phrase "Not What It Seems" but alas, I didn't get out to get a shot of it again this week. I am sure Tink will come up with another category that it will fit into quite nicely. Last week also included the letter "T".

This weeks challenge is Yellow & "What is in your purse/wallet?"

"T" a bank in Canada that has merged with Waterhouse in the States to become TD Waterhouse.

"Not What it Seems"

No, I didn't cut off the man dangling at the end of the cords, it is just a kite.

(But speaking of dangling - my friend wouldn't let me hang him in the name of art!)

"Not What it Seems"

This refrigerated truck delivers bouquets of FRUIT, not flowers.

Yellow, this is the new style of button to push to cross.

Yellow love flowers. For an explanation of the name (for those that don't read her), drop by my sister's blog.

The best shade of Yellow, real butter.

What is in my purse? Well, when I carry one, these are a few of the things I carry: bus tickets, tissue, cell phone, keys, wallet, MP3, life savers.

On the MP3: Leon Redbone, Queen, Chicago, Eagles, Nylons, Erasure, Chet Atkins, Eurythmics, Barbara Streisand, Elton John. Full albums, set on random, makes things very interesting. Oh, I might have some Bach and Bette Midler on there too. Platters and some 60's hits too. Can you tell I am listening to it now?

Bonus shots:

As I came home from my walk this evening, I saw this glittering in the tree.

Then I saw this thing on the picnic table, once I got close enough, I couldn't resist taking a photo of this poor guy stuck in the crack.

Well, that was fun. If you would like to play along, drop by and visit our hostess with the mostess, Tink at Pickled Beef. The link on my side bar takes you to the master participators list so you can see more interpretations.

Have a good day all.

I love that you have Chet Atkins on your MP3 player. :)
And good for you doing 2 weeks in one! The little white tiger is somehow whimsical. I don't think I would be able to decide if I should leave him there or take him home.

Hey Reb! I love me some Elton John, he is one of my all time favorites. I'd really like to see him in concert but his shows always sell out super duper fast.

I like your pictures this week, especially the fruit bouquet- I bet they are yummy (for what they cost they better be!)

Now what kind of a friend wouldn't let you hang him?
I'm am so very intrigued about the mystery not what it seems pic. I hope you get a chance to shoot and use it.
Excellent interpretation again, and oh, yeah, butter!

Great photos, sis!
Thanks for the shout-out, too.

Loved the kite that looks like a parachute, and the poor little tiger stuck in the crack. Reminded me of the "aggravatin', ain't it, Pa?" joke. :)

I had to double check that kite, that was pretty cool. I am a huge fan of real butter!

That is quite the neat arrangement of stuff from your purse. Well done.

Kcinnova, that man is so talented, how could I not have him on my player? I figured we weren't expecting rain and the kid might come looking for it. That and it was so cute sitting there.

Emily thanks. I hae been listening to EJ for as long as I can remember. They are good, but very pricey.

Leah, I know! I couldn't understand it myself. I am sure I will be able to shoot and use the item I am keeping secret, patience grasshopper.

Thanks Sis. Yes, now that you mention it - love that joke. I was pleased to get that photo of the kite.

Thanks G-man. As soon as I saw the photo on the screen, I knew it would work.

If I had any photoshop talent I would photoshop myself into that pic of the kite. That would be funny.

The fruit bouquets are very cool. And much healthier than the candy bouquets that a local company delivers around here.

Great pics as always Reb!

Leave it to me to comment on the food ones...that butter looks delish and so does the fruit bouquet!

Reb said...

Jay, thanks. I didn't even think about photo shopping myself in there, great idea. Candy bouquets sound much better though ;)

Janet, thanks. I couldn't resist the truck or the butter.

Wow those fruit bouquets worked well for the "not what it seems". Lovely shots, and gratz to you for having both packed in.

I wasn't able to make-up last weeks :(

These are really good and creative! I love the angle on the yellow button and the found tiger. AWESOME. The kite really does look like it's missing a person. I'm glad you clarified. ;)

Reb said...

AJ, thanks. They are amazingly beautiful.

Thanks Tink. Whoever was flying it was really good.

Your random shots at the end were great.

You've got quite the eclectic playlist, don't you?

Reb said...

Thanks Gramps. Yes, I try to mix things up.

I love the kite and delivery truck which depict your topic well. And the tree shot - it's amazing what you find when you look up. And Reb, only you would photograph a tiger on crack. ;)

these are all great shots
love the thing glittering in the tree and the poor stuffed animal

and all the yellow shots
I need to go butter something now!

Reb said...

Thanks Hilary. Good thing he was stuffed though.

Dianne, thanks. Butter is good!

Lovely images, especially the stuffed tiger one.

When we returned from Australia to our home (which we had rented out while away) I found a one-eared pink stuffed rabbit wedged between two layers of netting on top of the hen run. I rescued her (now named Miss Bunny) and she lives inside with other stuffed animals.

Excellent pictures and very cool music choices, especially Chicago and the Eagles.

Reb said...

Thanks Dawn. I'll bet Miss Bunny appreciates having been moved inside.

Terrie, thanks. I like my music varied.

Great shots!

Although it's breakfast time and I seem to be a bit fixated on the butter...

Reb said...

Crabby, thanks. The butter is really fascinating isn't it?

The kite photos broughts back memories of when my older brothers would make kites from balsam wood, newspaper with knotted nylon hose for tails. They flew rather well.
