WWC: Bokeh and Heart

This weeks words are Bokeh (description) and Heart. The WWC is brought to us by the lovely and talented Tink of Pickled Beef. If you would like to join in the fun, drop by and she will give you the scoop.

This is from the archives, but I managed to get some bokeh on these Bleeding Hearts before I even knew what bokeh was ;)

From a walk along the creek a couple of weeks ago, I managed to get some bokeh here.

The Heart of this fallen tree has all but disappeared.

The Heart of this more recently fallen tree is still full of vibrant colour.

After lots of searching, I finally found some heart shapes, one in amber from when I was about 14 and one that my dad made for my mom.

And this heart shaped jewellery box, that I have no clue where it came from, I know I have had it a long time though.

So, here is another week. I am still cleaning - yeah, I take forever to clean, but it has been nice out, so I have to admit to being outside more than inside.

Have a good day all.

I love that second tree pic. It's amazing how much colour and detail shows up when a tree is wet. Great choices all around, Reb. Have you come down from your cleaning fluid fumes high yet? ;)

Do you see the warrior-leader figure in the second tree?
Those are wonderful again, Reb.

Great job, sis! Love the trees, too. And seeing the heart that Dad made for Mom brought back some great memories. Thanks.

The heart of the tree is very creative! And good job on the bokeh. When I am feeling creative again, I will have to practice with that one.

Reb said...

Thanks FC. I just realised mine is coming back this year!

Thanks Barbara, they sure do.

Sis, for awhile I thought that was the only one I had, then I found the others. Glad you liked it.

Kcinnova, thanks. Yes, I need to practice that one too.

See? Bokeh isn't impossible to accomplish. We take Bokeh shots all the time without even realizing it. I love the first shot of the flowers. Lovely. Great job!

Reb said...

Thanks AJ, me too.

Thanks Tink, I still think I need to get one deliberately though ;)

Thanks G-man!

That amber heart looks pretty damn cool. I'd like to see a shot combining that heart and bokeh.

Reb said...

Thanks Gramps. One day when I learn bokeh, I will try to do that.
