This is from our trip to Jasper last summer and I am not really happy with how it turned out. It was too busy on the sidewalk to get a better shot. This was the weekend I walked too much and hurt myself. Of the four, if I remember correctly, two are full wolves and one is a cross with a dog and the other is just a dog. Why he has the wolves I also can't remember, it was after all a year ago almost ;)
Have a good weekend all.
PFF is the creation of Leah over at The Goat's Lunch Pail.

That's a whole lotta dog/wolf craziness!
Cool, Reb. My first thought when I saw the black one was it was a wolf.
I am not going to let the Princess see this - she would go crazy, barking her warnings!
Cool pic, sis.
Karen it is!
Thanks Leah, yes the black one and the other one in the front of the photo are the wolves.
Sis, she would! lol Thanks.
Beautiful animals! He must speak canine to be able to be alpha to such a pack.
Reb, the one with the reddish leash looks like a wolf with the type of coat it has. The black and white faced one in the back is likely a cross with a Malamute and the black one could very well be, but as the head isn't clear it's hard to say.
I've seen wolves go into Edmonton in January after the snowshoe hares. They're not too afraid of humans, but it's always best to be cautious around them. Tame or not.
But nice photo all the same.
Nobody is messing with that guy.
they're all beauties
Barbara, yes, The two closest to the camera are the wolves, I think the malamute is pure dog, the one you can't see is 1/2. So far, coyotes are the only thing I've seen in the winter in the city, but, I have heard about the wolves. I think the fellow with the wolves is a bit too trusting to have them in Jasper on a busy weekend though.
David, I think you might be right ;)
Dianne, they sure are.
Sometimes I wish I had the space for a malamute...but...sheesh, my 32 pound shiba sheds enough!
Gorgeous creatures, they are. That black one sure looks wolf-like to me.
Wolves on a city sidewalk, that's a great find. I wouldn't have had the presence of mind to take a photo but glad you did!

Those are handsome beasties. And the pic is just fine. :)
Janet, yes, malamutes are very pretty and I like a larger dog, but the hair gets to be a bit much.
That they are Hilary.
Jan, tourist town and the streets are so crowded it is almost impossible to move. I had a fair bit of wait for the crowd to thin, but it was so exciting to see wolves up close.
Frank, they sure are and thanks.
