Photo Finish Friday: Flowers

This is the first time in years that we have been on the hwy when the flowers have been blooming in the ditch. It is either too early, too late, or the mower has gotten to them first. We have Indian Paintbrush, (Fireweed I think), Daises, Purple Clover and Wild Tiger Lilies. Probably more too, I just can't tell.

Have a good weekend all.

PFF is the creation of Leah at The Goat's Lunch Pail.

Fine pic.
It's good to see the wild in full flower.

It's such a shame when they mow down the flowers. Glad you got a good look at them this year.

Love all the different colors! Not so many varieties of wildflowers where I live (either coast, actually) and it's mostly yellow, yellow and yellow.

Thanks Leah. It was very nice to see.

Messymimi, I'm glad too.

Crabby it was quite a pleasant change from other times of year.

Dianne, I know, one of the reasons I love lilies ;)

Very nice. The drought took care of ours this year.

Wild flowers are best at mid-summer, and these are picture perfect. Well done, Reb.
