Photo Finish Friday

I got paint on the wall!

And the floor and the cupboards, but I washed that off ;)

Sadly it will need two coats and just doing that section, contorting myself to get behind the fridge and stove (galley kitchen) and on top of the cupboards, was enough to hurt me (hip especially) for two days. Good thing summer has arrived ;)

Have a good weekend all.

Good job, but oy! that looks like work.

Thanks Leah. It is and is going to take me a lot longer than I thought.

Well really.. someone else ought to at least do that cleanup for you afterward...

The word verification is "mentruck." I'm hoping some will arrive in one and help you.

Looking very good -- difficult cutting in has always been my Waterloo, but you are doing great with it!

It does look nice. My hip-hurting contortions today merely involved cleaning the inside of the car windows.

Hilary, I'm just glad that Sibu didn't decide to help.

Thanks Messymimi, I took most of the tape off - shh!

Mary Anne, thanks. Funny how hips don't like the things they didn't mind when we were younger.

Makes my hips hurt to just look at it.
Great that you're gonna have a nice clean look to your apartment, though!

Thanks Sis. Yes, it will be nice.

Way to go, Reb!
You are further ahead than me: I peeled the wallpaper off in my bathroom over a month ago, except for where the lights and the medicine cabinet reside. Maybe we'll finish over the next holiday weekend?

Karen, I don't know about that, I bought the first can of paint in April ;) October 11th is really close!

that is a lot of work!!
I had a galley kitchen in one of my first apartments and it took me and my brother forever to paint it and when we finished my son looked at it and said - "wow!! that's a mess"

OY! ;)

Dianne, it doesn't help that I have too much stuff for a one bed apartment either!

I love that color. I just did my living room in a similar hue. I used to be a house painter so I know that there is NOTHING worse than a kitchen or bathroom with tight places!

Reb said...

Thanks Scott. I am sure though that your hips are a bit narrower than mine ;)

Acck, I don't know how you got behind the fridge and the stove; sounds like a major pain! Lookin' good though, hope it was worth the sore hip.

Reb said...

Thanks Crabby. It will be once I'm done.

Hey, I'm pretty sure that's the same shade of green I chose for my kitchen. Great minds.... ;)

Thanks Frank, except it is a pale turquoise, blue ;)
