I'm Late - really late!

Well, finally! Yes, I am getting caught up on the Weekly Words Challenge. THREE weeks worth - I am ashamed of myself!

I still don't know what is wrong with me....I have been trying now for four weeks to get in to see my Dr, to no avail, so I am giving him the old heave ho. I will try the walk-in clinic for awhile and go from there. Good thing I don't have to get approval from any health insurance company to change Dr's, they are all covered.

I went and had a pulmonary function test today. I don't seem to have asthma - ha...fooled them! I probably should have mentioned that I was a singer and played two wind instruments in my youth and probably have better lung control than someone that hasn't. Oh well...I will be contacted and sent for some more tests and to see a specialist and so on.

Thank you all for your well wishes and for bearing with my rambling today.

Whew!

As you know, our hostess Tink has abdicated and run off to Facebook. Happily, she is still hosting the WWC - check the side bar for all the locations that you can find photos by other people.

Have a good day all - oh and good weekend too!

Edit: My cousin has a good eye and memory, she made me look up Butterdome - it is a nickname, so I changed it and put in a link.

You're back! Oh, happy day! :D

Heh, you would leave me with that last photo and make me think about rum at 7:30am. (I don't really know why...I just am now. Subliminal suggestion from you, perhaps?)

I REALLY like the billboard with the green eye makeup and the butterdome is shocking.

Welcome back, Reb! Now don't let those docs give you the run around. We've been worried about you.

Atrocious about the medical runaround. Hope you get a proper doc, and soon. At least a walk-in clinic will get you some help.
Love the pics especially of the buildings and the vines although the weathervane is wonderful, too.
Well done.
I was so sure "Butterdome" was a nickname, but I was obviously, sadly, sorrowfully wrong.
Cannot recall now, which two instruments did you play? Was one a clarinet?

Glad to hear you are giving that doctor the boot. Perhaps you'll be able to find one who is a little more interested in providing health care for his/her patients!

Great photos, sis!

Kcinnova, lol, thanks! Me? Subliminal suggestions? No! (rum, rum, rum) The butterdome, is worse in person.

Leah, it is really atrocious! I had a wonderful Dr at the walk in a few years ago, so, wish me luck. Oh, you made me check...Butterdome is a nickname, but even the Uni uses it now. (Universiade Pavilion) Clarinet & trumpet, good memory.

Terrie, thanks. They sure do, how does 5 pm sound, we can stop and pick up some dinner after ;)

Thanks Sis. I have to refine the letter I wrote while waiting for the bus from the last attempt. Sending a copy to the College of P & S too.
Glad you liked them.

Love your reading piles! Hate that you're not feeling well. Good luck with the new doc, and hope the clinic can provide some immediate relief.

Nice to see you back. Changing doctors is a good idea, hope you find a good one.

The photos were lovely, and Rutherford House looks the same but with more vegetation around it.

Reb said...

Thanks Clare, I had to limit the reading too much though ;)

Barbara, it probably has more buildings around it too ;)

How did I miss this post? Your photos are creative as always - you never fail to evoke a smile with how you interpret things. (D-pot)

I'm sending best thoughts your way. I hope things turn out well for you on the doctor front. Please keep us posted. Or I'll just have to hound Baggie. ;)

Thanks Hilary! I will try to keep up with the blog a bit more.

Hope you feel better soon, Reb.

Nice pics and some of those books have decorated my bookshelves. :)

Hope you get to see a doctor and are soon feeling better!

Love the photos this week, especially the fading vines and the gorgeous sky shot. Beautiful!

All I could think of when I read this was "wow...good taste in books" :)

I kinda like the butterdome (Arms over my head to ward off the blows). Maybe it's worse in person. I also like the green eye and both West photos.

Sara Paretsky and Robert B. Parker are two of my faves so we must have SOMETHING in common.

CherylK, yellow is one of my favourite colours, but the butterdome is really eye-searing in bright light. Glad you liked them.
