WWC: Hands & Feet

Weekly Words Challenge! This week the words are Hands & Feet and I discovered that I don't much like feet or hands. Shoes, boots, funky socks and slippers, can't get enough - feet, not so much! Rings, gloves, massages, bring 'em on! Maybe part of that is due to fallen arches and ugly veins popping up, not to mention the fact I can't seem to grow my nails anymore! Anyway, here we go! Click to enlarge.

I give you HANDS, that need a manicure! (Why, yes, they are two different colours! That is because the right doesn't get a tan.)

HANDS that tell you not to walk.

HANDS that give you garden fresh potatoes! (Thanks Sis!)

And dry macro HANDS.

For FEET, I present little plastic dolls FEET.

I've often said if I was any paler I would be translucent - proof is in the photo. Getting out of a hot bath, you can see the veins in my FEET!

This is an arty shot of my FEET!

I couldn't decide which I liked better, so here is another shot of my FEET.

If you would like to join in the silliness that is the WWC drop by and see the soon-to-be bride Tink at Pickled Beef.

Have a good day all.

Good job on the artistic feet, Reb.
Quite the veins you've got there.

Holy catfish - the veins shot kinda freaked me out!

Thanks for using my hands! My little tiny hands sure made that potato look huge, didn't they? Teehee

You've accomplished this feat - hands down.

I just have one question.. ummm how did you take the photo of your hands?

(had to be a timer!)

Thanks Leah, scary aren't they!

Sis, that was the least vein-y shot I had! We are frying up the last spuds tonight!

Hilary, thanks and my feet up! Yes, timer and a tripod, I was behind the tripod.

Great pics! Are pics of tiny kitty feet acceptable?

You may not like' em byt you do do have a way of photographing them. Extremely well done. I especially like the macro hands and the artsy feet. :)

For someone who doesn't like her hands or feet, you sure did take some incredible photographs!
I think I cheated: I used my boys' hands and feet, and their feet were shod. Poorly shod, but shod just the same.

Why do you only have a tan on your left hand? Is that from the driver's side window or ??

that is one big potato!!! And vampires would love you :-)

Reb said...

Thanks Kcinnova. The tan is only on my left hand because I have to wear a compression sleeve and glove on the right for the lymphoedema. If I actually spent a lot of time in the sun, the tips of my fingers would be tan as well.

Janet, they are perfect for making fries. LOL, thanks!

That's a mighty big spud.

Great shots! I love the hand on the traffic light, I didn't think of that, maybe because Memphis' lights are not like that, but it's a great shot!

Well played!

Travis, just like Texas, things are bigger up here! ;)

AJ, thanks. I almost didn't use that one.

That's a potato?! You don't happen to live near a toxic waste dump, do you? ;)

I love the artistic feet shots. Beautiful... :)

Those were terrific photos! Great job on all of them.

I totally can't believe I didn't think of the "don't walk" hand. Very nice!

LOL Tink! That's what potatoes look like when they are fed with good soil & mother nature's fertilizer! My sister ranches up north and she is the gardener. Thanks.

Thanks Jay, you have a car that's why. ;)
