Photo Finish Friday: Specs!

I have new glasses! I was told by the optometrist to try progressive lenses, that they would solve the problems I've been having with the screen being to far away to see correctly. Well, that problem is solved, however, the side to side vision will take a bit of getting used to - I seem to have to move my head to read a paperback. Very narrow field of focus, just the edges of the page are out of focus. Oh well, I am sure I will adjust eventually.

Oh, don't click to enlarge, that just gets scary ;)

Have a good weekend all.

PFF is the brainchild of my cousin Leah over at The Goat's Lunch Pail.

  1. Yay! Cool new specs, Reb.
Progressives take some adjusting, but you'll get used to it before long.

  3. I agree with messymimi
    I didn't see anything scary

    love the glasses

I had to return my progressive lens
I tried for the 2 weeks they suggested but never adjusted to moving my eyes
I was always moving my head and it was becoming a pain - literally
they told me half the people adjust and half don't
so I'm back to 2 pairs of glasses

oh - love the golden blonde in your hair

  4. Thanks Leah. I'm sure I will be able to handle them eventually.

Messymimi, thanks. I really like that I can breath again, they are so light.

Dianne, thanks. I don't think I will have a problem with the up down, it is the side to side that will drive me crazy.

  6. They look wonderful.. not much frame and so there's more face. They practically disappear. I hope you get used to them.

  8. I lovelovelove my progressives. Since I groom dogs, I need to see at all kinds of distances (and from all sorts of strange positions!)

(Blogger kept telling my browser had cookies disabled, which it often thinks, but this time it took me three tries to convince it my browser was the same as ever.)
