I made a holster out of an old bag and a bit of cardboard tube, to stop my camera from weighing so heavily on my neck and banging on my hip. I made it long enough (I hope) for a zoom lens when I get one.
Happy Good Friday/Earth day all :)
PFF is the creation of my cousin Leah over at
The Goat's Lunch Pail.
Oh, Reb, what a great idea. Good for you. It looks like it'll do the trick just fine.
ReplyDeleteThanks Leah, it works very well.
ReplyDeleteBut are you a quick draw?
ReplyDeleteVery creative. Hope it's making carrying the gear easier.
ReplyDeleteWyatt Earp would be proud.
ReplyDeleteTravis, I'm working on it ;)
ReplyDeleteMessymimi, thanks. It does.
Thanks David ;)
All praise to your ingenuity. It's really cool.

Oh clever you. I could use one of those. I tend to carry my camera over my shoulder along with the lens case. It gets rather heavy in no time. You should go into business like your sister did with her Bags.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mary Anne.
ReplyDeleteHilary, how long is your longest lens? I can't guarantee pockets, but I could make one for you.
you are becoming a warrior photographer!! :)
ReplyDeleteI’m just going to call you MacGyver from now on, that was brilliant! You look like a photojournalistic equivalent to Indiana Jones.
ReplyDeleteVery clever! (and I'm chuckling over all these comments!)
ReplyDeleteI guess I am Dianne ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL Scott, I have a cane instead of a whip!
Thanks Sis, me too!
Well aren't you the smart one!
ReplyDeleteSnakeMaster comes up with ideas like this, too, but he's not a sewing whiz like you & your sister.
Thanks Karen. So when are you going to teach him to sew?
ReplyDeleteGreat idea and I also think that you look like a photo journalist.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dawn. I'll leave that job to Leah though ;)
