The Weekly Word Challenge is hosted by the charming Tink of Pickled Beef and this weeks words are Primitive and Modern. Very interesting words to interpret as they encompass such broad descriptions. For example the term "Modern" was invented in the 16th century and "Primitive" can encompass everything from biology to machine code or the computer sitting on your desk right now ;) * sigh * certainly mine!
Here we go, click to enlarge any photo.

Well done, sis!
ReplyDeleteI especially like the primitive farm tools and wagon wheel. That's a 3-bottom (horse-drawn) plow (converted to pull behind an equally primitive tractor), if I'm not mistaken..... :)
thanks for sharing REB!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood work, Reb. Loved the flute and the farm tools.
ReplyDeleteI love the wagon wheel buried in the overgrown grass. Very rustic. My Step-Dad is all about that. He keeps trying to convince my Mom to let him make a table out of one (like in "When Harry Met Sally"). He also wants a pair of horns above the bed. *Snort*
ReplyDeleteOH, I love, is that a bowl? Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sis, I knew you would tell us what that is.
ReplyDeleteThanks Gary.
Leah, thanks. I like how the flute came out.
Tink, thanks. LOL - horns above the bed!
Thanks Janet, no, it is actually a paperweight.
Ooh, I like the old farm equipment. Well done, Reb! (And I miss camping, too. No time for it these days.)

ReplyDeleteThanks so much David.
Great job finding all those primitive images; I'm not sure I could round up more than one or two things if I had to try.
